A Tex-Mex Showdown

It’s a Texas fiesta! This challenge is the ultimate nod to the local Tex-Mex and the history behind the food and drink of the South. We’ll start with a lesson in Mexican cooking, challenging each team to prepare the best dip with a mix of authentic and not-so-expected ingredients. Then, all the groups will go head-to-head together in our Tacos & Tequila Gameshow! You’ll participate in a Jeopardy-style quiz game related to Tex-Mex, local beers, and tequila, with not only trivia, but also mini challenges to get you out of your seats and rack up the points! The winning team will not only get bragging rights, but also a unique prize.

We created a private tour for our corporate outing, and the team at San Antonio Detours could not have been better! Kyla helped organize every part of our event. She was a wealth of information during the planning process. Our tour guide, Jax, was incredible! Her knowledge of San Antonio history and culture is amazing. She is entertaining as well as educational. 

Our trip was a corporate event for a group of 24 people. We had a terrific evening with our tour guide. Personally, as an event coordinator, I was very happy to be working with San Antonio Detours, who went out of their way to listen to our needs and make sure everything turned out exactly as I envisioned it.
